Church Business Meeting – October 1st

On October 1st at 6 pm we will hold a business meeting to discuss what mission project(s) the church would like to support. We invite all church members to come with their ideas and present them to the church during this business meeting. More details on how to prepare will follow soon.

Container for Haiti – Mission Project

Just a quick reminder that we are still collecting items to send to Haiti. The trailer will be picked up no later than October 19 so there is not much time left. What we particularly need is school supplies, which you are welcome to directly give to Carolle.

Items we are also looking for include

  • learning materials for schools
  • computers (desktops, laptops)
  • mattresses for dormitories
  • rugs and toys for pre-schoolers
  • bed linens
  • cafeteria items (tables, chairs)
  • bicycles
  • medical equipment (e.g. wheelchairs)
  • exercise equipment
  • musical instruments
  • kitchen utensils
  • tool boxes

You can also contribute to the cost of filling and shipping the container by marking you donation as “Haiti Mission Project”.

Church Business Meeting – June 25

Mark your calendars for our business meeting on June 25 at 6 pm. Please make every effort to attend. Join us beforehand for pizza at 5 pm.

We will be reviewing the following:

  • 2016-2017 finances
  • Budget for 2017-2018
  • TAS subsidy and credit recommendation
  • TAC privacy policy
  • Plans to support a mission project

Memorial Service Doris Klopping – February 18

Please join us for a memorial service honoring Doris Klopping’s life this Saturday, February 18, at 6 pm here at the Tranquility Adventist Church. The church doors will open at 5:30 pm. A repast at the Tranquil Valley Retreat Center cafeteria will follow the service. Please continue to pray for the family.

Prayer Conference Call

We are looking for volunteers to lead a weekly prayer conference call. Please speak to Dave Evans if you are interested in leading one call or leading many! Be on the lookout for more information as we determine day and time for these weekly calls.

BMA India Mission Trip – Suitcases Needed

David Masaka and his classmates are collecting old suitcases or traveling bags that can hold roughly 50 lbs and can be filled with books or clothes. They are also collecting religious literature, clothes for children, and educational toys. All donations need to be collected by Friday, Feb 17. If you have anything to donate, please speak to David or contact Grace at (908) 343-3022.

Compassion 2017


All churches and departments of the New Jersey Conference will join the NJ Compassion Ministry in an evangelistic effort in the first half of 2017.

Your Testimonies Are Needed

The NJ Conference is looking for stories of how the Lord blessed His faithful people in 2016. If you would like to share your story, President Jose Cortes will interview you in a video to be shot at the Conference office. If you have a story, please share it! Contact the Pastor so that he can connect you with the video crew at the Conference.
