Tranquility Church service is cancelled for March 14

With the increased spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) in NJ, each of us must take precautionary measures for the peace of mind and continued health of the Tranquility Church community as well as our guests.

The leadership of Tranquility Church are taking prudent steps to keep us and our community healthy. Tranquility Adventist Church worship services, including all Sabbath School classes, have been cancelled for March 14.

This decision is made out of faithfulness, not fear. We seek to be faithful in lessening the spread of the coronavirus and its impact on those most at risk. We know social distancing can have a positive impact, lessening the spread, and we are convicted to be responsible citizens in our community.

Following the CDC and local health officials recommendations, small group gatherings (less than 25 in attendance) in homes are an option for those who feel comfortable. We encourage everyone to take advantage of this time to connect with each other in meaningful ways. Call friends that you know will miss our weekly fellowship the most. Enjoy Sabbath family time, and take advantage of one of the many excellent websites and online sermons.

Please share word of this with who you may know that do not frequent social media, have access to email, or have limited communication in other ways.

“May the Lord watch between you and me when we are absent one from another.” Genesis 31:49
